March 21, 2026: The California Long COVID & IACCI Clinical Implementation Forum
(Santa Barbara, CA) - 3/21/2026 - Experts in Long COVID and IACCI Clinical care and research convened alongside community health leaders and patients to share the latest education with over 400 attendees from around the world - in person and virtually - at Mar Monte Hotel. This is the most recent lecture in The Chesley Initiative CME-accredited educational tour series.

February 26, 2025: Louisiana Roundtable: Long COVID & IACCI
(Baton Rouge, LA) - 2/26/2026 - Dr. David Putrino (Mount Sinai CoRE) is an expert in Long COVID and IACCI Clinical care and research. The Chesley Initiative convened the Louisiana Roundtable - bringing together some of the leaders in healthcare across the state to share the latest in education and determine next coordinated steps for increasing diagnosis and improving quality of care.
September 18, 2025: HHS Long COVID Roundtable
(WASHINGTON, D.C.) - 9/19/2025 - For the first time the HHS assembled the Long COVID Roundtable titled "Invisible Illness: Leading the Way on Long COVID". Our partners, David Putrino, Ph.D. and Akiko Iwasaki, Ph.D. and, along with other experts from around the U.S. joined to discuss urgent strategies for diagnostic tests, effective treatments and how to combat the stigma and misunderstanding that pervades the lives of patients.
January 24, 2025: CME Accredited Lecture
(SANTA BARBARA, Calif.) - 1/24/2025 - The Chesley Initiative hosted a CME accredited lecture, "Long COVID and Other Infection-Associated Chronic Conditions: A pragmatic guide to assessment, management, and following emerging research trends" with keynote speaker Dr. David Putrino (Mount Sinai, CoRE). The in person and virtual event was supported by the Santa Barbara County Public Health Department, CenCal Health and the James S. Bower Foundation. Thanks also to the California Medical Association for providing medical credit to our medical professional attendees!

(SANTA BARBARA, Calif.) - The Santa Barbara County Public Health Department in collaboration with nonprofit organization The Chesley Initiative hosted a distinguished dinner lecture on the intricate facets of Long COVID. This enlightening event, titled Long COVID: Demystifying Diagnosis, Pathobiology, and Treatment, was held at the prestigious Mar Monte Hotel in Santa Barbara.
